RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS


Returns & Exchanges: 

​

We gladly accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

​

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code.

  • The artwork must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • The item must be returned in its original condition (unaltered, and undamaged), unless it arrived damaged.

  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and insurance when returning an item that was delivered as described.

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. We strongly recommend using a fully insured and trackable shipping method.

  • If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

 

Photos of the item will be required to approve returns.

 

Once the returned artwork is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

 

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Exchanges are permitted (subject to availability). Please contact us at info@studiobadassoldgal.com.

Non- Returnable Items:

 

Due to their custom nature, we cannot accept returns for the following unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Commissioned paintings

  • Customized paintings

  • Personalized orders

Damaged Items: 

​

If your artwork arrives damaged:

​

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide clear photos of the artwork and packaging.

  • Retain all original packaging materials.

 

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Cancellations:

 

Cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of purchase to receive a full refund.

PRODUCT INFORMATION AND DISCLAIMERS


Online vs. Actual Colors - Please consider the following information before making your purchase:

​

  • Due to variations in screen resolution and calibration, the colors of the artwork displayed online may differ slightly from the actual painting.

  • Please be aware that the colors you see on your screen may not precisely match the painting.

  • Unless it was necessary to accurately represent the painting, online photos have not been filtered or enhanced.

Commissioned Paintings:

We accept requests for commissioned artwork. Please contact us directly to discuss in detail:

  • Your style

  • Your preferred color palette

  • Your intended use / placement of the piece

  • Size

Commissioned Reproductions:
 

We offer the option to replicate some of our original artworks for the following reasons: 

​

  • To expand a piece you're purchasing to a diptych or triptych (ex. need three similar paintings over seating area).

  • To similarly replicate a piece that has already been sold. 

  • To similarly replicate a print into a larger gallery wrapped canvas  ---- Note: No item will be exactly the same as these are original paintings.

 

​Please note the following details regarding commissioned reproductions and diptych or triptych requests:

​

  • Your painting will closely resemble the original piece in terms of style and colors; however, it will not be an exact match.

  • The repainted artwork will possess the same level of quality and finishing as the original.

  • The brushstrokes of the new painting will be created spontaneously, similar to the original, emanating fresh and vibrant energy.

  • Your reinterpreted artwork will be an exclusive, one-of-a-kind creation made specifically for you.

  • Prior to shipment, we will provide you with a video and images of the completed painting for your approval.

  • In most cases, your new will be completed within 15 days after receiving your payment. Subsequently, the painting will require approximately 10 days for drying and varnishing before shipment.  Production timelines begin after deposit/payment is received.

 

Repainted works are original reinterpretations inspired by a previously created piece. While the style, color palette, and overall composition will closely resemble the original, each painting is uniquely hand-created and will not be an exact duplicate.

 

Natural variations in brushwork and texture are inherent to the artistic process and are part of what makes each piece distinctive.

 

Production timelines begin upon receipt of payment or deposit.

Artist's Signature:

 

Paintings are typically signed on the front, unless it is believed it will detract from the image.  In such cases, paintings are signed on the side or rear of the painting.  This option is also utilized when a painting is created to hang in multiple directions. 


If you've selected a painting for purchase that you would like signed in a traditional manner, on the front bottom of the painting, please let us know, prior to shipping. Information regarding the signature is typically noted in the painting description.

Certificate of Authenticity:

 

All original paintings include a signed Certificate of Authenticity verifying the artwork’s title, medium, dimensions, and date of creation.

If an original painting is resold, the Certificate of Authenticity should accompany the artwork to maintain provenance.


Sales Tax:

 

If taxes will be collected, we display an “Estimated Tax” to be collected at check out when confirming an order. The amounts displayed as estimated tax may then be updated later when your order is finalized and completed.

FRAMING, PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Framing:

​

Some paintings are sold framed. Please refer to the individual artwork description to confirm whether framing is included. If the description indicates that the painting is framed, the listed price includes the frame.

​If a painting is offered unframed, custom framing options are available upon request for an additional charge.

All artwork is carefully prepared and packaged before shipment. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 4–6 business days unless otherwise noted on the product listing. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

 

Shipping Methods – Original Artwork

​

All original artworks are professionally packaged to ensure safe delivery and are shipped fully insured through trusted carriers including UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS. The carrier selected will depend on the destination, package size, and delivery efficiency.

Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped so you can monitor its progress.

 

Shipping Methods – Art Prints

 

Art prints are carefully packaged in protective materials to prevent bending or damage during transit. Prints are typically shipped via USPS unless another carrier is requested at the time of purchase.  Tracking information will be provided once the print has shipped.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, holidays, weather conditions, or customs processing.

 

Shipping Address & Contact Information

Please ensure that your shipping address and phone number are correct at checkout, as carriers may require a working phone number for delivery coordination. Studio Bad Ass Old Gal is not responsible for packages delayed or lost due to incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.

 

International Orders

​

Yes, we ship internationally.

 

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or brokerage fees that may be required by their country. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

 

Studio Bad Ass Old Gal is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges incurred during international shipping.

 

Packaging & Artwork Protection

​

Each artwork is carefully packaged using professional protective materials to ensure safe delivery.

  • Original artworks are securely wrapped and boxed or crated depending on size.

  • Art prints are packaged in protective sleeves and sturdy mailers to prevent bending or surface damage during transit.

Shipping Insurance

​

All original artworks are fully insured during transit. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of the packaging and artwork so we can assist in resolving the issue promptly.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

​

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery is managed by the carrier. However, we will gladly assist in tracking and resolving any shipping issues should they arise.

Rolled Shipments: 

  • International shipments may be sent rolled in a protective tube to reduce shipping costs. Rolled works will require professional re-stretching upon arrival. We will advise you if rolling is not recommended for a specific piece.

  • Studio Bad Ass Old Gal is not responsible for improper re-stretching performed by third parties.

Damage During Transit: 

​

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide clear photos of the artwork and all original packaging materials.

  • Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

 

We will work directly with the carrier to resolve insured damage claims promptly.

 

Packaging:

​

Packaging methods vary depending on medium (stretched canvas, panel, paper, wood, etc.). Specific packaging details may be found in each artwork description.

  • Unframed works on paper or panel are typically shipped in archival-quality protective materials.

  • Gallery-wrapped canvases may ship stretched or rolled, depending on destination and buyer preference.​
